![]() The crafting recipe for a Gaean Keystone. Gaean Keystones are made using two Vines, five Stone Bricks and a piece of Obsidian, and the pattern is shown below: Upon spotting a player, they will run away. Their sole purpose is to be a pedestal for the Staff of Gaea in front of an Erebus Portal. Woodlice are passive arthropods (theyre crustaceans, not insects) that may spawn when destroying the hollow logs found in Subterranean Savannahs and the Ulterior Outback, as well as from breaking Rotten Wood in Submerged Swamps and Fungal Forests (or any biome that you place the wood in). In order to make an Erebus Portal, you will require a Gaean Keystone upon which to place a Staff of Gaea. Some mobs within the mod can spawn with random mob names. An in-depth magic and farming system is planned for future versions of the mod, as well as much more content. The mod is mainly focused its added dimension that introduces various arthropods, dungeons, enhanced biomes and unqiue blocks and items. It serves no purpose other than to create a Staff of Gaea. The Erebus is a mod led and developed by Dylan4ever along with the rest of The Erebus Team. Once placed onto an Offering Altar, they will weave in and out three times, on the third time fusing into a Gaean Gem. They require the fusion of a Diamond, an Emerald and a piece of Obsidian on an Offering Altar. ![]() Gaean Gems are strange, eyeball-crossed-with-Earth-looking items that are necessary to create a Staff of Gaea. The recipe to construct one is shown below: It is not renewable due to the Diamond requirement of a Gaean Gem and has no other use beyond acting as a fancy key to access the portal. It is made using a Gaean Gem, three Sticks, four Vines and a Gold Ingot. The Staff of Gaea is a crafted staff used solely to open-and maintain the opening of-an Erebus Portal (see Travelling to the Erebus, to see how to craft the portal).
